Installation
Zentro is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Download
Download Zentro from the download page (opens in a new tab) on the website — it detects your platform automatically.
Download zentro-v<version>-windows-amd64-installer.exe and run it. The installer adds Zentro to your Start Menu and a Desktop shortcut.
Run the installer
Double-click zentro-v<version>-windows-amd64-installer.exe. If Windows SmartScreen appears, click More info → Run anyway.
Follow the setup wizard
Accept the default install path or choose your own.
Launch Zentro
Open Zentro from the Start Menu or Desktop shortcut.
Why does Windows SmartScreen show a warning?
Zentro's installer and executable are digitally signed, but you may still see a blue "Windows protected your PC" screen the first time you run it.
This is expected for a new app and does not mean Zentro is unsafe. SmartScreen doesn't just check the signature — it also weighs how many Windows users have already run that exact build, a reputation score that builds up over time as more people download it. A brand-new release starts with little to no reputation, even though it's properly signed, so SmartScreen shows a caution screen until enough people have run it safely.
To continue: click More info, then Run anyway. This only appears on the first launch of each new version — once your download count contributes to Zentro's reputation, the warning goes away for that build.
First Launch
When you open Zentro for the first time:
- No account or sign-in is required
- You land on the Project Hub with no projects yet
- Create your first project from there

Updating
Zentro checks for updates automatically shortly after launch (toggleable in Settings) and notifies you when a new version is available — it does not download or install updates automatically. Grab the new build from the download page (opens in a new tab) and install it the same way as above. You can also trigger a check manually from the app menu (Check for Updates).
