License & Early Access
Early Access
During the Early Access period, all Pro features are available for free to anyone who signs up with their email.
No credit card required. Early Access is completely free. You'll only need to pay when the EA period ends and Pro goes to its standard pricing ($9.9/month).
How to Sign Up
- Go to zentro-ide.com (opens in a new tab)
- Enter your email in the Early Access form
- Open Zentro on your desktop
- Go to Settings → License and enter the same email
- Click Activate — Zentro connects to the license server and activates Pro features
No download required if you already have Zentro installed.
How Licensing Works
Zentro licenses are tied to your email address and your installation ID (a unique identifier generated when you install Zentro). This allows:
- Multiple device management (up to the limit for your plan)
- License restoration if you reinstall
- No account portal required — just your email
What Happens on Activation
When you activate with your email:
- Zentro sends your email + installation ID to the license server
- The server checks your subscription status
- If valid, a signed license token is returned and stored locally
- The app is unlocked for Pro features immediately
Activation requires an internet connection. After activation, the license is cached locally and the app works offline.
Restoring a License
If you reinstall Zentro or move to a new machine, you can restore your license:
Open Settings → License
In Zentro, go to Settings (bottom of the left sidebar) → License tab.
Enter your email
Type the same email you used to sign up for Early Access or purchase Pro.
Request a restore link
Click Restore License. Zentro will send a magic link to your email.
Click the link
The magic link is valid for 15 minutes. Clicking it in your email client activates Zentro on the current machine.
The restore magic link expires after 15 minutes. If it expires, click Restore License again to receive a new one.
License Status
The current license status is shown in Settings → License:

| Free | No email activated; core features only |
| Pro (Early Access) | EA period; all Pro features active |
| Pro (Active) | Paid subscription active |
| Pro (Expired) | Subscription lapsed; reverts to Free |
| Offline | License was previously validated; cached locally |
Deactivating a Device
To deactivate Zentro on a machine (e.g. before selling a computer), go to Settings → License → Deactivate. This removes the local license token and frees the device slot on the license server.
Managing Your Subscription
Pro subscriptions are billed and managed through Lemon Squeezy. After the EA period, you'll receive an email with a link to your subscription portal where you can:
- View invoices
- Update payment method
- Cancel subscription
Cancelling a subscription reverts Zentro to the Free tier at the end of the billing period.
